Zhivago's Beauty.  dob 5/10/99.  As far as I know this is the greatest producing longhorn cow that ever lived.  (Please correct me if I'm wrong).  At least 3 natural daughters over 80ttt.  All 3 will finish close to 90ttt if not over.  At least 3 granddaughters over 70ttt.  At least one of which will go over 80ttt......possibly 2.  And I have a couple more of her daughters that are still young,  but may hit 70+ttt also.  No other longhorn cow that I've ever read or heard about has produced the horn like my Beauty cow.  I've based my whole program around her.

Welcome to Blue Mountain Longhorns.  My name is Aubrey Herring. My wife Marva and I hope that you enjoy the tour of our longhorns.

We purchased our first longhorns in 1998 and have really enjoyed them. They are a passion and very habit forming. Presently, we have about 15 longhorns plus a few calves in our herd. We're trying to have a very small, quality herd. Around 7 or 8 mama cows ... with a few yearlings and calves to look at. Here at Blue Mountain Longhorns, we focus on HORNS! We love all the wonderful shapes as long as there is a lot of it. I learned early that in order to produce great horn, there has to be a foundation of great females in my longhorns pedigrees. And that is what we've been striving to accomplish. As you tour our herd you'll notice the tried and proven genetics that we've added to our herd. We feel that it's all starting to come together now. With our great herdsires and great females........good things are happening here at Blue Mountain Longhorns. So kick back and enjoy the online pasture tour. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to email or call. I always enjoy talking longhorns. If you're ever in south central Missouri......give me a call for directions and drop by for a visit. I love to show off my "horns".

The senior herd sire here at TK Lee.  Lee measures 86"ttt w.  Recently he measured 107"total with 7" broken off.(ttt measurement adjusted for 7" broken off)    He's double Fiesty Fannie, double Overlyn, and double Overhead on top with Unlimited, Grand Slam, and Golden Counter on bottom.

In addition to TK Lee,  we will be using sires like JR Grand Slam,  Zeus Eot (full brother to BL Rio Catchit),  Roundup,  Chuckwagon,  Boomerang,  Tabasco, and Zhivago in our AI program.
