Premium won his class at the 2007 Horn Showcase.
Welcome to Blue Mountain Longhorns. My name is Aubrey Herring. My wife Marva and I hope that you
enjoy the tour of our longhorns.
We purchased our first longhorns in 1998 and have really enjoyed them. They are a passion
and very habit forming. Presently, we have about 40 longhorns including calves in our herd. Eventually, we hope
to have 25 really good cows running around the ranch. Here at Blue Mountain Longhorns, we focus on HORNS! We love
all the wonderful shapes as long as there is a lot of it.
Our
main herd sire will be Premium. Premium measures
70 1/8"ttt and over 89"
of total horn.
Winter Games is our other herd sire. He currently is 681/4"ttt and over 85" total horn.
In addition to Premium and Winter Games, we will be using sires like Roundup, Evader, Tabasco,
and Zhivago in our AI program.
